Zizyphus 18 nourishes the Kidney, Liver, Spleen, And Heart. The herbs zizyphus, biota, albizzia, ophiopogon, and polygala are used for Disturbed Shen due to a deficiency condition. These are reinforced by cuscuta, cistanche, rehmannia, lycium fruit, ginseng, astragalus, hoelen, dioscorea, and lotus seed.
Correct use is for emotional accompanied by deficiency, rather than excess.
