How to Dose and Administer Wai Tai Bu Shen Fang
Granules: 2-4 grams, taken 2-4 times a day (dissolve in water)
Whole Herbs: Using a container made of ceramic, glass, or stainless steel (no aluminum, iron or copper) pre-boil FU ZI for 30 minutes. Reduce to about 1-2 liters, then add the remaining herbs and boil for 30 minutes or until 2 cups of medicine remain. Adjust lid to keep too much water from evaporating. Strain herbs; save and refrigerate for a second boiling. Drink 1 cup in the AM. And 1 cup in the PM. If desired, repeat the following day, using the saved herbs from the refrigerator.
