SHI LIN TONG Uses

The famous Chinese patent remedy is made up of a single herb, JIN QIAN CAO, Gold Coin Herb.  

SHI LIN TONG is used for frequent, painful urination with little urine flow.  It is said to remove obstructions, promote urinary flow, and to Clear Damp Heat. In practice, this herb is used to assist in passing small kidney stones.

SHI LIN TONG PIAN is a relatively new patent  remedy, having been listed in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic Of China only since 1977.

How Much SHI LIN TONG to Take

Take 5 tablets 3 times a day, or as prescribed. Swallow with a large glass of water. 

SHI LIN TONG Cautions and Contraindications

There are numerous counterfeit versions of this product that sell for less.  To insure quality and safety, be sure to use major brands.

Overdoses have caused dizziness or palpitations probably caused by dehydration from increased urination.  Be sure to drink plenty of fluids, and you may wish to take supplemental potassium as it can also be depleted by urination.

Pregnant women are advised to consult with their health care providers before using any supplement.

There are several different species grown in different parts of China that are all considered JIN QIAN CAO, they are:

Glechoma Lonfituba in Jiangsu Provence, Herba Desmodium Styracifolium in Guandong Provence, Lysimachia Christina, in Sichaun Provence. Dichondra repens, also in Sichuan Provence.
