Lion's Mane Mushroom
HOU TOU GU (Hericium Erinaceus)
Lion's mane has a long history of use in East Asian medicine. It's available in fresh, dried, and supplement form. Research suggests that lion's mane may offer a range of health benefits, including:

Lion's mane contains a number of health-promoting substances, including: Antioxidants, Beta-glucan, Oligosaccharides.
However, one of lion's mane's components slows blood-clotting. Taking lion's mane with other blood thinners like Jantoven (warfarin), aspirin, Plavix (clopidogrel), or herbs and supplements that affect clotting could increase the risk of bleeding.
