When to Use DA BU YIN WAN 

DA BU YIN Wan  is used for heat caused by YIN Deficiency, with possible symptoms of afternoon fever, night sweats, dry cough, tinnitus and premature ejaculation.  Other indications are irritability, Heat In The 5 Hearts (palms of the hands, soles of the feet, and sternum), fatigue, weakness, or constant gnawing hunger.

Use when deficient YIN is unable to restrain the YANG, particularly at night (YIN time). This manifests as reckless fire that can cause irritability, insomnia with heat, spontaneous emission in men, and reckless marauding of blood (bleeding disorders).
