When to Use DANG GUI YIN ZI WAN
DANG GUI YIN ZI is used to alleviate itching. The original form of DANG GUI YIN ZI was a beverage (YINZI).
In TCM, itchy skin often occurs when deficient blood allows Wind to invade the channels, and interstitial spaces. This type of skin itching, related to blood deficiency and dryness is different from itching from damp-heat.
