"This ointment is based on Jin Huang San, a Qing dynasty formula used to clear heat and disperse accumulated toxin; addressing all manner of red, swollen, skin lesions. In modern parlance these swellings equate to swollen lymph nodes, red, swollen insect bites, infected hangnails, carbuncles, boils, pimples, etc.

Apply this ointment to any red swollen skin lesions. Spread the plaster on a gauze pad and secure over the affected area. Adding a small amount of tea water will increase the effectiveness of the ointment. Not to be applied to open wounds (it can safely be applied around the wound being careful not to get the ointment in the open wound).

GOLDEN YELLOW OINTMENT Ingredients:

Sesame oil, Beeswax, Trichosanthis root, Phellodendrum bark, Turmeric, Rhubarb root, Rehmannia, Angelica root, Licorice, Coptis, Red Peony, Citrus peel, Magnolia Bark, Atractylodis root and Arisaema.
