How to Use GAN CAO YOU

Ointment: Mix with sesame oil, fry until herbs are brown. Strain out herbs and use oil topically. Apply to the affected area 2-3 times daily.

Tincture: Cover herbs with 50% alcohol in a covered glass container. Soak for at lest 24 hours.. Apply topically. 

Decoction: Boil contents of 100 grams in 2 quarts of water in a non-alluminum pot for 30 minutes and reduce to 2 cups of liquid. Use as a soak or topical poultice,
