What Happens at an Acupuncture Appointment?
Your practitioner begins by discussing your primary concern and your general health.
Don't be surprised if you're asked about things that initially seem unrelated to your complaint. Sleep, digestion, appetite, energy, body temperature, stress and emotional health can all provide useful diagnostic information in Chinese medicine.
Your practitioner may also examine your tongue and pulse.
