Bai Tou Weng CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • This herb is sold dried.  The fresh herb contains protoanemonin, which is an irritant.  Drying converts this to anemonin, which is much less irritating.  Normal doses of the dried herb decoction are not likely to cause worrisome side effects.
