How to Make Your Own Elixir
All you need are,
- Herbs (we provide these)
- Drinking Alcohol (you provide this)
- Glass jar or bottle.
Instructions:

Cover 4 ounces of whole herbs with 16-32 oz. drinking alcohol.

Place jar in a cool shaded place.

Let it stand for one week or more. (agitate daily)
- Strain out herbs. Drink.
Notes:
Stir or shake gently once a day. No need to shake vigorously.
It's best when herbs are chopped or cut into small pieces.
To make a stronger or weaker beverage, vary the amount of alcohol, and/or vary the soaking time. Some elixirs can soak for years.
Any kind of alcohol will work, but rice wine is most often used because it has a neutral nature and is generally inexpensive.
