What is BA ZHENG SAN Used for?
BA ZHENG SAN (or WAN or TANG) typically treats various LIN (urinary) syndromes with symptoms of dark, painful, frequent, or urgent urination. Do not confuse it with Ba ZHEN Tang, which is entirely different.

Safety and Side Effects of BA ZHENG SAN
- Do not use together with diuretic drugs.
- Not for frequent urination caused by Kidney Deficiency.
- Contraindicated for those with chronic Lin Syndrome
- Contraindicated during pregnancy.
- Long term use may produce weakness, palpitations, light headedness and loss of appetite
- Contraindicated for those with chronic disease with weakness.
- Contraindicated for those with Deficiency Cold.
Pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult with their health care provider before taking herbal supplements.

BA ZHENG SAN Dosage
Tablets: 5 tablets 2-3 times a day
Granules: 2-4 grams, taken 2-3 times a day, best on an empty stomach, or as prescribed
Whole Herbs: Using a container made of ceramic, glass, or stainless steel (no aluminum, iron, or copper) boil 1 packet (50 grams) of herbs in 2-3 quarts of water for about 30 minutes, or until 2 cups of medicine remain. Strain herbs; save and refrigerate for a second boiling.
Drink 1 cup in the AM. And 1 cup in the PM. If desired, repeat the following day, using the saved herbs from the refrigerator.
