Qing Hao Safety & Contraindications

  • Contraindicated with diarrhea.
  • Contraindicated with Spleen Deficiency
  • Contraindicated with Food Stagnation.
To Avoid Injury to the Spleen or Stomach, Don't use Qing Hao with:
  • Rx. et Rz. Rhei Da Huang.
  • Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui.
  • Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang for those with postnatal Spleen and Stomach Deficiency.
  • Purgative herbs

Dosage:

Granules: As prescribed, best on an empty stomach

Whole Herbs: As prescribed. Using a container made of ceramic, glass, or stainless steel (no aluminum, iron or copper) boil herbs in 2-quarts of water until 2 cups of medicine remain. Drink 1 cup in the AM. And 1 cup in the PM.
