This supplement contains milk thistle (silybum marianum)‚ a flavonoid that may help to support the liver.  Milk Thistle, also known as cardus marianus, blessed milk thistle, Marian thistle, Mary thistle, Saint Mary's thistle, Mediterranean milk thistle, variegated thistle and Scotch thistle, may have  anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and may also help stimulate the growth of new liver cells. 

Milk Thistle-80, taken together with Health Concerns' GB-6, may also support gallbladder health by working to stimulate bile flow‚ thus it could help with nausea‚ abdominal pain‚ and possibly with small gallstones.

One tablet of Milk Thistle-80 contains 200 milligrams of milk thistle extract‚ containing 80 percent silymarin.
