The word CONG in this formula refers to the herb CONG BAI (scallion)
The word CHI refers to the herb DAN DOU CHI (fermented soy bean)
Jie geng is JIE GENG
Choose either CHONG CHI JIE GENG SAN made with concentrated powders, or
CONG CHI JIE GENG TANG made with whole dried herbs.
Functions and Indications for Use:
- Scatters Wind
- Releases Exterior
- Clears heat from the lungs
- Indicated for Early stages of warm pathogen (wind-heat ) conditions characterized by fever, headache, slight aversion to wind, cough, sore throat, thirst
- patients usually dispaly a red tipped tongue with a white coat and a floating and rapid pulse.
